Do not fear death so much,
but rather the inadequate life.

This group sounds scary
-why do you run it?
My interest in the topic of death comes out of my Buddhist studies and my personal journey. In Western Society death became a taboo subject. Considering how often it happens, it is astonishing that we manage to live in denial of our mortality. We rarely think about death and when or if we do, it is rarely a useful reflection. Yet, facing the subject of death directly can release us from this denial, can infuse our life with previously unknown vitality and zest for life, can increase our appreciation of the immediate and can radically reorganize our priorities in life.
